Madame Alexander Doll Club

Hopefully you have met Melissa at one of our MADC events. If you have met Melissa, you know that she always has a smile on her face & will do her part to help club members.

Melissa is busy in our office - answering phone calls, emails, packing & shipping boxes of dolls, processing event registrations, doll orders & anything else that is needed to take care of our membership.

Please know that when you call the MADC office that Melissa might not be in there at that moment. She has to go into the warehouse & get dolls that need to be shipped out or she might be packing items that are being shipped out to a MADC event - Friendship Luncheon, Premiere or Convention. So please be patient - she will get back to you ASAP. She will answer your emails and/or return your phone calls.

Melissa is a 20 year member of the club (yes, she did join as a small child) and shares her love of Madame Alexander dolls with her mother, Annette. Encouraged by her Dad, Carmine, who thinks it is terrific his wife and daughter enjoy the same hobby, they have attended Friendship Luncheons and Premieres regularly and plan to attended their first Convention in San Diego.

Melissa is a “middle child” with a younger sister, Marielle, who also enjoys Alexander dolls and an older brother, Michael, who is totally into sports and has no idea what is a Wendy or a Cissette is. Melissa enjoys dancing and yoga and is currently taking salsa lessons. She went to school for skincare and is Board certified as an Esthetician and Makeup Artist. Although she discovered she likes working in an office environment, she still enjoys this. If you are thinking about a “new look” or seeking some skin care tips, Melissa will be happy to help you out!

Like most of us, Melissa loves, loves, loves to travel and her favorite destination is the Rivera Maya in Mexico. She would like to start visiting more US States and learn about the history of each. When not planning her next trip, she and her boyfriend Sal, a New York City Police Officer, like to watch NY Yankees baseball, NY Rangers hockey and the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship – mixed martial arts competition, but no one gets hurts).

And her favorite dolls? Well, when asked, Melissa said she favors Cissette, but also likes baby dolls, and of course the 8 inch dolls, particularly theme dolls like Halloween sets (witches are her favorite) and the Raggedy Ann and Andy collection. Sounds like most of us, tough to choose just one!

So, the next time you call the office or send an email, introduce yourself and say “hello” to Melissa.
